A lovely little white Cat by Rosa Ljung, Vintage Scandinavian design.
The ceramic cat is decorated with flowers and a blue ribbon. Underneath the base is a sweet dedication dated 1988. The inscription reads: "Till Lil på Karin-Dagen, 1988." "To Lil for Karin's Day, 1988."

Rosa Ljung is a famous Swedish ceramist and designer. She was mainly active at Deco in Helsingborg from 1967 until her death in 1983. She largely designed objects with various animal motifs, including animal figurines such as various birds, cats, horses and more, also pots and vases. Her style is easily recognizable.

The item is vintage and as all objects with a history, it has imperfections that make it unique.
