My name is Silvia, and I’m happy to welcome you to this little corner where every object has a story to tell.

I was born in Italy, but I’ve been living in Sweden with my family for a few years now. I studied design in Italy, and both my education and my roots taught me to grow up surrounded by beauty. 

How was Lala Nordecor born?

My passion for vintage Scandinavian design grew slowly, starting with my first trips to Scandinavia in 2016, where I discovered the charm of local second-hand markets (loppis). I fell in love with the Nordic way of living: simple yet never cold, minimal yet full of life. That’s how I decided to turn this passion into something to share — and Lala Nordecor was born. 

For me, vintage is a choice of the heart. It means giving new life to what already exists, choosing sustainability over fast consumption. Every piece is carefully selected by me, chosen for the new and unique value it can bring into your home. 

Scandinavian design has a soul of its own — one that is both distinctive and timeless. Clean lines, natural materials, warm tones. It’s a design that doesn’t shout but lives quietly. It creates space for light, silence, and everyday life. 

In this blog, you’ll find inspiration to decorate with character, ideas for giving new life to old objects, and — every week — a story. A short tale dedicated to a special item, because I believe even a lamp or a teacup can move us, if we know how to listen.
